VILLANOVA, Pa. — Villanova University women's basketball has announced its 2026-27 non-conference schedule, highlighted by a season-opening matchup against Notre Dame in Rome, Italy, as part of the Eternal City Tipoff.
The Wildcats will play 11 non-conference games, including five contests against teams that competed in the NCAA Tournament last season.
Villanova opens the campaign on Nov. 1 against Notre Dame in Rome before returning stateside to face Princeton on Nov. 10. The Wildcats will host Merrimack on Nov. 12 in the home opener and travel to Fairfield on Nov. 15.
The non-conference home slate continues with a Nov. 18 matchup against Towson and a Nov. 24 contest against La Salle.
Villanova will then participate in the Ft. Myers Tip-Off Classic, facing LSU on Nov. 27 and Kansas State on Nov. 28. The Wildcats return to the Philadelphia area for a Dec. 1 road game at Temple before competing in the Big 5 Classic at The Palestra on Dec. 6.
Villanova will conclude its non-conference schedule on Dec. 12 when West Virginia visits Finneran Pavilion.
The Wildcats will also host Fairleigh Dickinson in an exhibition game on October 10.
