KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Villanova Women's Soccer landed a spot on the College Team Academic Award winners list from the United Soccer Coaches, as announced by the organization on Friday.

Teams on the list were recognized for their exemplary performance in the classroom during the 2025-26 academic year. This is the 16th time in program history the team has been recognized and second during head coach Samar Azem's tenure. The Wildcats posted a 3.66 team GPA this past season.

A total of 779 soccer teams (327 men, 452 women) posted a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher, thereby earning the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award for the 2025-26 academic year. Of that total, 176 schools had both their men's and women's programs recognized including Villanova.
