2024: Named First-Team All-BIG EAST … Named BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week (Sept. 24), named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll three times … Played and started in all 17 games … Scored a career- and team-best 15 goals, tied for 15th most in a season in program history … Tied for seventh in the nation with 0.88 goals per game … Scored a goal in five straight games (Sept. 9-Sept. 22), the first Wildcat to do so since 2007 … Scored a career-best four goals at Penn (Oct. 6), which is tied for fourth most in a single game by a Wildcat … Scored a career-best three game-winning goals, including a double-overtime winner at William & Mary (Sept. 22) … Logged three assists … Recorded a career- and team-best 33 points … Tied for 10th in the nation with 1.94 points per game … Fired a career-high 70 shots, 43 of which were on-goal … Averaged 43.8 minutes per game … Played a season-best 51 minutes at William & Mary.
 
2023: Named to the NFHCA Senior Team… NFHCA Mid-Atlantic All-Region Team Selection for the second season in row, Second Team All-BIG EAST for the fourth consecutive season, and 2023 BIG EAST All-Tournament team during her senior campaign… Finished third on the team in goals (9) and third in points (23)… Scored three game winning goals on the season including the set piece goal that helped Villanova beat UConn for the first time in 17 years… Tallied five assists on the year… Attempted 59 shots and placed 35 on goal… Was named BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week for her three point performance against Providence that clinched Villanova’s first BIG EAST Tournament berth since 2018.
 
2022: NFHCA Mid-Atlantic All-Region Second Team selection … Second Team All-BIG EAST selection for the third year in a row … Started all 17 games at back which allowed two or fewer goals 10 times during the year … Tied (with teammate Hannah Barsky) for second in the BIG EAST and ranked 24^th nationally with three defensive saves … The team’s third leader in scoring with seven … Tallied five assists and ranked third on the team with 19 points … Netted two game-winning goals and attempted 61 shots while placing 29 shots on goal … Scored the game-winning goal in overtime 4-3 win versus Towson and an overtime 4-3 victory over Quinnipiac both at home … Converted go-ahead penalty stroke in the two games and went 3-for-3 with penalty stroke on the season … Scored a goal and made an assist in a season-opening win over LIU and added tallies in wins six teams during the year including two versus Towson … Named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll on August 29 and October 31, 2022.
 
2021: Second Team All-BIG EAST selection for the second straight year … Started all 18 games for a defensive unit which allowed two or fewer goals six times during the year … Led the BIG EAST and ranked third nationally with six defensive saves … Tied for the team lead in scoring with 10 goals which was tied for fourth in the BIG EAST … Tallied two assists and ranked second on the team with 22 points … Netted two game-winning goals and attempted 46 shots while placing 29 shots on goal … Her six defensive saves are tied for the fifth-most in a single season in Villanova history … Made two defensive saves in a 3-2 win at Drexel … Scored the game-winning goals in a 6-3 win over La Salle and a 3-2 victory at Wagner … In the La Salle game registered her first career hat trick and recorded a career-high seven points which matched the most for any BIG EAST player in a game during the season … Converted a go-ahead penalty stroke in the fourth quarter against No. 22 Monmouth in a game which eventually went to overtime … Scored a goal in a season-opening win over Lehigh and added tallies in wins over Bucknell and Providence during the year … Recorded a goal and an assist at Quinnipiac.
 
2020*: Earned second team All-BIG EAST honors and teamed with classmate Meghan Mitchell to give Villanova two freshmen on the postseason all-conference teams for the first time ever … One of the team’s top performers throughout the year and was named the BIG EAST Freshman of the Week on March 15 after helping lead the Wildcats to a pair of wins over Quinnipiac in conference play … Totaled six goals, one assist and 13 points on the year … Ranked second on the team in both goals and points while leading the squad with 34 shots taken … Placed 20 of her shots on goal and finished the season with a .176 shot percentage and a .588 shot-on-goal percentage … Started all 14 games on the Wildcats back line and contributed to the 5-0 win over Quinnipiac on March 14 which was the first shutout for the Villanova defense since 2017 … Was credited with defensive saves against Liberty and Old Dominion … Also had an assist and three shots in that win … One day earlier she scored two goals, including her first collegiate game-winner, in a 3-2 win over the Bobcats … Recorded a team season-high eight shots in the contest and scored off penalty corners in the third and fourth quarters … Her tally at the 34:16 mark of the third period followed a Wildcats goal just 41 seconds later and put the team in front for good … She added an insurance goal for a 3-1 lead with 6:34 to play in the contest … Notched her first goal of the season against eventual BIG EAST runner-up Old Dominion on February 26 … Converted penalty strokes against La Salle on March 29 and Temple on April 11 … Scored in both ends of a home-and-home against Temple during the final weekend of the regular season on April 9 and April 11.

Personal: Born 3/16/03 in Blaricum, Netherlands ... Older of two daughters of Geert and Ursula de Ruijter ... Has a younger sister, Lisanne (15) ... Hobbies include skiing, going to the beach and spending time with friends ... Chose to attend Villanova for the combination of attending a top academic school and continuing her field hockey career ... Enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences and has yet to declare a major.
