Biography

Career: Logged 21 starts in 22 appearances as a Wildcat in two seasons with 26 games played in her entire collegiate career … Of her 1923 minutes in net over her career, 1864 were played in a Villanova kit … Made 58 saves with 23 allowed for a 1.12 goals against average, saving at a .716 clip … Accumulated a 4-8-9 record.

2023: Started in all 18 games on the year for 1620 minutes … Went 4-7-7 in net … Made 48 saves at a .706 clip, allowing 20 goals with a 1.11 GAA … Accounted for four shutouts on the season … BIG EAST: started in net for all 10 contests for 899:30 minutes, going 1-7-2 … Saved at a .652 clip, grabbing 30 shots that went her way while allowing 16 for a 1.60 GAA … Made a season-high five saves against Creighton (10/8).

2022: Made three starts in four games for 245 minutes … Made 10 saves with three getting past her for a 1.11 GAA and a .769 save percentage … Went 0-1-2 on the year … BIG EAST: Logged 20 minutes in net against Providence (10/27), making three saves in the draw.

At Arkansas: Woodward comes to Villanova after playing the last two seasons at Arkansas.  In 2021 she totaled 58 minutes in three matches for the Razorbacks, all during matches the Hogs won, and was named to the SEC Fall Academic Honor Roll.  The Razorbacks won back-to-back SEC titles in 2020 and 2021 and advanced to the Sweet 16 in 2020 and Elite 8 in 2021.  Prior to Woodward played her freshman season at Kentucky, where she was top five in the SEC in saves per game and played her sophomore season at Portland.

High School: At Fayetteville Woodward earned All-State, Conference, and Tournament Team honors as well as was named to the All-Star Team.

Personal: She was a member of the Nation Honor Society and at Arkansas majored in Financial Risk Management and will pursue at Master of Finance from Villanova.  "I chose to attend Villanova for many reasons, but what really solidified my decision was the people. From the other athletes, to the coaches, the support staff, and the people within the Business School and MSF programs, everyone was more than willing to help and support me in any way possible. I also cannot wait to compete in the Big East with an amazing team."
