2024: Appeared in 50 games and started in 48 of them … Had a batting average of .177, slugging percentage of .244 and on base percentage of .332 … 164 at bats resulting in 29 hits, 32 runs, nine RBI and led the team in hit by pitches with 14 … Of those 29 hits, six were doubles, one triple and one home run … On defense he had a .991 fielding percentage with 102 putouts.

2023: Appeared in 48 games and started in all 48 … 173 at bats resulting in 42 hits, 33 runs, 16 RBIs, led the time in sacrifice bunts (three), second in stolen bases (six) … He hit seven doubles, second in triples (two), and second in home runs (six) … He attained a .243 batting average, .410 slugging percentage, and .373 on base percentage … He was second on the team in stolen bases with six … On defense he had a .983 fielding percentage with 114 putouts … He had one of his best games of the year on May 5 where he recorded 2 home runs with 2 RBIs.

2022: Appeared in 48 games and 44 of which he started … 156 at bats resulting in 34 hits, 24 runs, 21 RBIs, and five sacrifice bunts … He clipped six doubles, was the team second leader in triples (three) and stolen bases (three), and was tied for the team’s second leader in home runs (four) on the season… He attained a .218 batting average, .372 slugging percentage, and .361 on base percentage … Defensively he had a 0.967 fielding percentage with 84 putouts, 33 assists, and three double plays only yielding five errors … Had some of his best games at the plate during a series against St. Johns from April 29 to May 1 where he had four hits, two runs, two doubles, five RBIs, and a home run … He played 26 games where he had two putouts or more.

2021: Appeared in 21 games with 15 starts on the year … Started six times in left field, four times at second base, twice in right field and three times as the designated hitter … Went 9-for-42 (.214) at the plate with a more telling .365 on-base percentage … Drew nine walks and was hit by a pitch once in just 57 plate appearances … Scored eight runs, had one triple and stole four bases without being caught … Tied for the team lead with five sacrifice bunts … Had one of his best games in his first start of the year against Delaware on March 14 when he was 3-for-4 with a run scored, a run batted in, a walk and a career-high three stolen bases in an 11-10 win … Reached base safely at least once in 12 of his 15 starts … Villanova was 9-6 in the games he started … His versatility in the field was an asset and he finished the year with a .969 fielding percentage while making just one error in 32 total chances (22 putouts, nine assists).

2020: Saw playing time in 10 games with three starts during the abbreviated season … Went 4-for-10 (.400) with five runs scored and three runs batted in … Drew two walks, was hit by a pitch once and had a .538 on-base percentage … Struck out four times … Stole one base and was caught twice … Handled six chances in the field (four putouts, two assists) without committing an error … Made his collegiate debut as a pinch runner and came around to score against No. 3 Arizona State … Started at second base against Campbell, and in left field against Bucknell and NJIT … Came off the bench to go 2-for-2 with two runs scored and two RBI in a win over Saint Louis … Went 1-for-3 and was hit by a pitch in the home opener against NJIT.

Club Baseball: Played AAU baseball with Diamond Baseball Academy and played the 2019 summer season in the Perky League.

Perkiomen Valley High School: Earned a total of nine varsity letters during his scholastic career, including three each in baseball, soccer and basketball … Played second base and shortstop for the baseball team, center back in soccer and point guard on the basketball team … As a senior batted over .300 with a .430 on-base percentage and led the Pioneer Athletic Conference with four home runs … Also batted .339 with an on-base percentage over .400, 17 stolen bases and just two fielding errors during his junior season … Earned all-area and all-league honors as a shortstop his senior year after being an all-area second baseman his junior season … In soccer was a first team all-league selection, a team captain and his team’s MVP as a senior … In basketball was an all-area selection and a second team all-league pick as a senior … Was a team captain and was named his team’s Defensive Player of the Year … Three-time Academic All-Conference honoree in all three of his sports … Inducted to the National Honor Society and served as the treasurer … Achieved Highest Honors status academically … Graduated in the top three percent of a graduating class with 450 members.

Personal: Born 3/13/01 in Abington, Pa. … One of four children of Trip and Christine Hansen … Has three siblings: Alex (34), Quade (31) and Luke (17) … Has an uncle, Richard Coletta, who played college baseball at Saint Joseph’s … Hobbies include watching sports and spending time with family and friends … Chose to attend Villanova for its strong academic reputation, the school’s well-known culture and the opportunity to play Division I baseball … Enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences and has yet to declare a major.
