2021: Played in 10 games with seven starts during his freshman campaign … Started two games in left field and five as the designated hitter … Went 3-for-19 at the plate with two runs scored, two runs batted in, four walks and 11 strikeouts … Had one stolen base, one sacrifice bunt and one sacrifice fly … Had a .292 on-base percentage in 25 plate appearances … Made his collegiate debut in the second game of a doubleheader against Hofstra in the home opener and was 0-for-1 with a sacrifice fly and an RBI … Started in left field and was 1-for-2 with a run scored while recording his first collegiate hit at Saint Joseph’s on April 1 … Villanova was 5-2 in the games he started … Was the designated hitter against Xavier on May 2 and went 1-for-4 with a walk, a run scored and an RBI in a 12-5 win as the Wildcats clinched a series victory over the eventual BIG EAST runner-up … Singled and stole a base in a win over Georgetown on May 8.

Club Baseball: Played for Mid-Atlantic Baseball Academy and was a four-year team captain.

Cherokee High School: Earned three varsity letters in baseball and was a high school teammate of current Villanova teammate Jimmy Franchetti … Batted .545 his sophomore year … Inducted to the National Honor Society and the Business Honor Society as a junior, as well as the Language Honor Society as a sophomore.

Personal: Born 1/7/02 in Marlton, N.J. … One of three sons of Joe and Dominique Schooley … Has two brothers, Nicholas and Jason … Brother, Nicholas, played college baseball at Rowan … Enjoys spending time with family, watching the Philadelphia sports teams and playing basketball … Chose to attend Villanova for its academic reputation, to play for a winning baseball program and for family connections with the University.
