Villanova Career: Steady right-handed pitcher who is capable of working in either a starting role or out of the bullpen… Through his collegiate career he has pitched in 24 games with 12 starts … Owns a 3-7 record with a 6.78 ERA spanning 69.0 innings pitched… Has faced 338 batters and held them to a .328 batting average yielding 100 hits and 58 runs (52 earned).… Allowed four home runs and 23 doubles while striking out 54... A one-time member of the BIG EAST All-Academic team and two-time member of the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll at the end of his freshman year.

 2023: Appeared in eight games and started in two of them…Had a 0-2 record with an ERA of 12.64 across 15.2 innings…Gave up 26 hits while striking out 12, held opponents to a .361 batting average…Yielded 22 runs (all earned) while giving up seven walks…Allowed eight doubles, and four triples…In a season high 4.1 innings pitched, he struck out five while allowing three earned runs and five hits.

2022: Appeared in nine games starting seven on the mound with two relief appearances out of the bullpen… Went 2-4 with an ERA of 5.77 across 34.1 innings… Gave up 52 hits while striking out 42, held opponents to a .338 batting average against him… Yielded 26 runs (22 earned) while issuing 13 walks, three wild pitches, and one sacrifice fly… Allowed four homerun and 12 doubles to 168 batters faced…He had two putouts, two assists, one error, and a fielding percentage of .800… He had a season high of nine strikeouts and 6.1 innings striking out nine, allowing one homerun, two runs (both earned), four hits, and four walks in the 5-3 win over Georgetown on May 3 away.
 
2021: Appeared in three games out of the bullpen during the season … Logged three innings pitched while allowing eight hits and five runs (four earned) … Walked two and struck out three while facing 20 batters … Gave up just one extra-base hit … Villanova won all three games he appeared in … Logged two innings and had three strikeouts in a 2-1 win at Stony Brook on March 20.
 
2020: Earned a spot in the weekend starting rotation at the beginning of the year and appeared in four games with three starts before the season was halted … Went 1-1 with a 2.25 ERA over 16.0 innings pitched … Gave up 14 hits and held opponents to a .222 batting average against him … Allowed only two extra-base hits, both doubles, to 70 batters faced … Charged with five runs (four earned) while walking five and striking out eight … Over his final two starts of the season against Saint Louis and Bucknell combined to allow just one earned run on 10 hits over 12 innings … Earned his first collegiate win in the Saint Louis game, going six innings and scattering a run on five hits while walking none and striking out two … Pitched six scoreless innings against Bucknell and got a no-decision in an eventual 6-4 victory … Logged two innings of relief with four strikeouts and an unearned run allowed against Purdue.
 
Pascack Hills High School: Played baseball all four years and was a three-year varsity letter winner … As a senior had 84 strikeouts and a 0.37 ERA over 56 innings pitched … Earned third team all-state, first team all-group and first team all-county honors his senior season … Was a finalist for Bergen County Player of the Year and was nominated for the state All-Star Game … Named an all-conference and all-league selection as both a junior and a senior … Helped his team win three state sectional titles, as well as Group 2 state championships his junior and senior seasons … Won a county championship as a freshman … His team won the Bergen County Tournament his junior year and he was named the tournament’s MVP.
 
Personal: Born 6/7/01 in Montvale, N.J. … One of three children of Bill and Jennifer Siegenthaler … Has two siblings, Billy (22) and Brielle (13) … Enjoys snowboarding and fishing in his spare time … Chose to attend Villanova for the combination of its academic and athletic reputations, the beauty of the campus and the surrounding area … Enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences and has yet to declare a major.
