Andrew Donofrio is in his first season as a student manager for the baseball team and will assist the coaching staff during the year in a number of different roles. A Virginia native, Donofrio is a freshman at Villanova and plans to major in Mathematics.

Donofrio played junior varsity baseball at Loudon Valley (Va.) High School. He was a four-year Honor Roll student academically and graduated as an Excellence in Education honoree for ranking in the top five percent of his graduating class. He was also a member of the Math Honor Society, the Latin Honor Society, the Social Sciences Honor Society and the American Sign Language Honor Society in high school.

Donofrio chose to attend Villanova because it fit his desire to attend a Catholic and liberal arts college near a big city, and also for the opportunity to enroll in the five-year Masters’ program for applied statistics. He is one of six children of Mark and Andrea Donofrio, and his siblings are Megan (22), Joseph (16), Daniel (14), James (11) and Adam (9).
