Villanova Career: He has appeared in 185 games and started in 184 of them throughout his career … Defensively he has made 935 putouts, 160 assists, and only yielded 25 errors with a .978 fielding percentage … He has also established himself as a key hitter always finding a way on base … His offensive totals include 201 hits, 48 doubles, three triples, 20 home runs, 130 runs scored, and 124 runs batted in … Has been walked 78 times, and was hit by a pitch 30 times … He was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll in his freshman year on March 15 and BIG EAST Player of the Week on May 20, 2024 … Four-time member of the BIG EAST All-Academic Team … Eight-time member of the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll.
 
2024: Started in all 51 games … In 221 at bats, he recorded 63 hits, 46 runs, 19 doubles, nine home runs and 43 RBI … Had a .285 batting average, .493 slugging percentage and .358 on base percentage … He led the team in hits, doubles, tied for most RBI and second in home runs … Defensively had 176 putouts, 59 assists and a .979 fielding percentage … Recorded a 12-game hitting streak, had 17 multi-hit games and 14 multi-RBI games … On defense had 176 putouts and 59 assists with a .979 fielding percentage … One of his best games came against East Tennessee State where he had a season-high four hits, three RBI, a double and home run.
 
2023: Appeared in 51 games and starting 50 of them in the infield … Offensively he had a big season with the second highest batting average on the team with a .303 (59-195), highest slugging percentage at .503, and an on base percentage of .503 … Recorded 59 hits (second most on the team) which included 13 doubles (second most on the team),  one triple, eight home runs (most on the team), and seven stolen bases (most on the team) … Was second on the team in RBIs with 25 and added 25 walks as well … Defensively he finished with a .990 fielding percentage which included the most putouts on the team with 345, the most double plays with 27, and was fourth in assists with 39 … He had 16 multi-hit games, a 14-game hit streak (longest on the team), and five games with multiple RBIs … One of his best games offensively at Boston College where he had three hits on four at bats, and all three were doubles.
 
2022: The second-year returner to the Wildcats roster played and started in all 49 games of the season … On the offensive end he was a key hitter in the lineup holding one of the highest batting averages (third) on the team at .265 and a high slugging percentage of .350 (fourth) for the team … He was the team’s second leader in runs scored with 32, RBIs with 36, and doubles with nine on the season … He was the team’s third leader in hits with 53 and hit two home runs on the teams most plate appearances of 200 … He posted a .342 on-base percentage taking 70 total bases, steal one on one attempt … Drew 20 walks, was hit by a pitch five times and struck out 26 times … Ranked first on the team with three sacrifice flies … On the defensive end he led the team in fielding double plays (22) and putouts to chances (372-412) … He was also on the leader board (fourth) for assists with 34 … He only yielded six errors at first base and had a fielding percentage of .967 … He had a season high hitting a home run and having four RBIs at Monmouth on May 10 … He had a season high of 14 putouts at Seton Hall on May 14… Went 3-for-6 with a walk, two runs scored and two RBI in an 15-4 win at Richmond on March 27­… He had 14 multi-hit games and six multi-run games.
 
2021: Had a strong season in his first year at Villanova and started in 34 of the team’s 35 games played … Batted .200 (26-for-130) while posting a .316 on-base percentage with a .292 slugging percentage … Ranked second on the team with seven doubles and also had one triple, one home run and 12 runs scored to go along with 20 runs batted in … Drew 16 walks, was hit by a pitch six times and struck out 39 times … Stole three bases in four tries … Named to the weekly BIG EAST Honor Roll on March 15 after he went 4-for-10 with a double, four RBI and two runs scored in a two-game sweep of Delaware during the previous weekend … Started strong at the beginning of the season and batted .318 (14-for-44) over his first 11 games … Counted five multi-hit contests and three multi-RBI games in that stretch … Hit first collegiate home run in the first game of a doubleheader at Penn on March 27, going 2-for-4 with a hit by pitch, three RBI and a stolen base in the contest … Also went 2-for-4 with a double and two runs scored in the second game of the doubleheader … Reached base safely in each his first 14 games played … Later in the season went 3-for-11 with two doubles and two RBI in a three-game series against BIG EAST champion Connecticut … Started 13 games apiece at third base and in right field in addition to making eight starts in left field … Had 42 putouts, 28 assists and 10 errors in the field.
 
2020 (Notre Dame): Appeared in five games off the bench during the abbreviated season … Made his collegiate debut against Incarnate Word, entering the game as a pinch runner and coming around to score a run … Stayed in the game at third base and recorded a putout on his only fielding chance … Went 0-for-1 in a pinch-hitting assignment and played third base against Presbyterian … Also appeared in games against UTSA, North Carolina and Radford.
 
Club Baseball: Named to the 16U WWBA All-Tournament Team in 2016 … Was an honorable mention Perfect Game Preseason Underclassmen All-American in both 2017 and 2018.
 
The Episcopal Academy: Earned a total of 12 varsity letters during his scholastic career, including five in baseball as well as four in water polo and three in basketball … Played the infield and pitched on the baseball team … Four-time All-Philly first team, Inter-Ac first team and All-Main Line first team selection … Led his team’s pitching staff in strikeouts as a junior and a senior (Straub Memorial Prize), as well as in hits as a freshman and a sophomore (Eddie Collins Award) … Also won the Class of 1914 Gold Baseball for leading the team in batting average his freshman and sophomore seasons … Two-time winner of his team’s Bob Scott Memorial Cup for highest GPA, hitting and fielding percentage during his sophomore and senior seasons … Three-time Carpenter Cup selection … In addition to playing baseball was a goalie on the water polo team and forward on the basketball team … Set the school’s record for career saves in water polo … Three-time Inter-Ac first team honoree … Helped the basketball team win the 2017 Inter-Ac title … As a junior and a senior won the Daniel J. Dougherty Basketball Alumni Award … As a junior was the recipient of the Class of 1929 Gold Basketball … Named a Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame Scholar-Athlete … As a senior won the school’s Crawford Cup as a senior with distinguished athletic achievement coupled with the highest sportsmanship. 
 
Personal: Born 1/24/01 in Villanova, Pa. … Youngest of four children of Matt and Christy O’Reilly … Has three older siblings: Sean (27), Katie (25) and Maddie (22) … Father played college basketball at William & Mary … Enjoys outdoor activities such as golfing, hiking and biking in his spare time … Likes to play pickleball and tennis … Chose to attend Villanova for its blend of academic and athletics, as well as good school spirit … Enrolled in the Villanova School of Business and plans to major in Business.
