Villanova Career: The right-handed pitcher who can pitch multiple innings out of the bullpen…. Has a career record of 0-1 in 14.2 innings pitched with a 6.14 ERA and holding batters to a .276 batting average…Has yielded 16 hits, 11 runs (10 earned), and only given up five career home runs…Was named to Athletic Director’s Honor roll in the spring 2020.

 2023: Appeared in three games in which he started two…Had an ERA of 11.12 across 5.2 innings… Gave up eight hits and help opponents to a .333 batting average against him… Yielded seven runs (all earned) while issuing two walks, one triple, and three home runs in 24 batters faced… He pitched a season high 3.2 innings only giving up one run and four strikeouts against Wagner on March 25.

2022: The junior relief pitcher appeared in two games throughout the season…He had an ERA of 16.20 across 1.2 innings… Gave up two hits and held opponents to a .286 batting average against him… Yielded three runs (all earned) while issuing two walks, one sacrifice bunt, and hit one batter by pitch… Allowed two home runs to 10 batters faced… He pitched a season high of one innings only giving up one hit and two run at Monmouth on May 10.
 
2021: Did not appear in any games.
 
2020: Made six appearances out of the bullpen during the abbreviated 2020 campaign … Did not allow an earned run over 7 1/3 innings pitched … Recorded one save … Allowed six hits and held opponents to a .222 batting average against him … Walked one and struck out five … Pitched a perfect ninth inning against Bucknell to save a 6-4 victory … Went a season-high two scoreless innings with two hits allowed, a walk and two strikeouts against Bucknell two days earlier … Made his collegiate debut against Purdue with a scoreless inning of work and a strikeout … Worked a scoreless inning in a 5-1 win over NJIT in the Wildcats only home game of the year.
 
Red Bank Regional High School: Logged 43 innings pitched with 66 strikeouts and achieved Honor Roll status academically.
 
Personal: Born 9/16/00 in Red Bank, N.J. … Youngest of three children of Bill and Janet Povey … Has two older sisters, Katie (25) and Nicole (23) … Enjoys going to the beach and playing basketball in his spare time ... Chose to attend Villanova for its strong academic and athletic reputations, and because he liked the campus … Enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences and has yet to declare a major.
