Villanova Career: Sixth-year member of the Villanova pitching staff who persevered through injuries early in his career to develop into one of the Wildcats most dependable pitchers over the last three seasons … Fully healthy during the 2020 and 2021 campaigns he unleashed his full arsenal as a power pitcher who has averaged 8.00 strikeouts per nine innings during his career… A veteran of 71 career games with 31 starts and a total of 215.2 innings pitched … Owns a 12-17 record with three saves and a 4.88 ERA … Has 177 strikeouts while allowing 241 hits and 129 runs (117 earned) to go along with 88 walks issued … Opponents are batting .284 against him and he has given up just 14 home runs to 977 batters faced …2021 and 2022 seasons make up for two-thirds of his career starts… Pitched primarily in relief earlier in his career and has logged 17 career relief appearances of two innings or more… Named to the All-BIG EAST Second Team as the 2022 season concluded…  Two-time BIG EAST Pitcher of the Week during his career, with each of those honors coming during the 2021 season … Six-time selection to the BIG EAST All-Academic Team and 12-time member of the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll.

2022: The consistent and reliable pitcher returned for his second graduate season with the Wildcats continuing the steady pitching presence of his former 2021 season… Named to the All-BIG EAST Second Team for the first time in his career among numerous academic accolades… Pitched 14 games overall with 11 game starts and three relief appearances… Went 5-3 with an ERA of 5.07 across 60.1 innings… Averaged 5.82 strikeouts per nine inning… Gave up 74 hits while striking out 39, held opponents to a .307 batting average against him… Yielded 37 runs (34 earned) while issuing 23 walks… Allowed four home runs to 277 batters faced… Gave up three or less earned runs or fewer in 10 of 14 games he appeared in, including three scoreless outings of six innings or longer…  Had two games appearance on April 30 and May 13 in which he logged 14.0 scoreless innings… Season high of six strikeouts against St. John’s on April 30.

2021: Emerged as a dependable weekend starting pitcher for the Wildcats and flourished in the best season of his collegiate career … Named the BIG EAST Pitcher of the Week on two occasions during the season (March 22, May 10) … Pitched in 12 games overall with 10 starts and two relief appearances … Went 3-4 with a 3.43 ERA spanning 63.0 innings … Gave up 57 hits while striking out 55, holding opponents to a .242 batting average against him with a 7.9 K/9 strikeout ratio … Yielded 27 runs (24 earned) while issuing 24 walks … Gave up two earned runs or fewer in seven of his 10 starts, including three scoreless outings of six innings or longer … Had a span of three appearances (two starts) from March 20 through April 3 in which he logged 15.0 consecutive scoreless innings … He pitched close to home in the first game of that stretch when he had a career-high 10 strikeouts over six scoreless innings in a 2-1 win at Stony Brook on March 20 … Named the BIG EAST Pitcher of the Week after that start, and followed up the outing with seven scoreless innings with just three hits allowed, one walk and nine strikeouts in a no-decision against Penn … Came out of the bullpen in the second game of a doubleheader at Saint Joseph’s on April 3 and pitched two scoreless innings with one hit allowed and four strikeouts … Pitched a career-high eight scoreless innings with three hits allowed, one walk and eight strikeouts in a 4-0 win over Georgetown on May 8 which earned him his second Pitcher of the Week nod … Got the win in his final outing of the year at St. John’s when he allowed an earned run on six hits over seven innings of work in a 7-2 victory.

2020: Tied for the team lead in appearances during the abbreviated season … Pitched in seven games, including two starts, and held opponents to a .236 average against him over 16.0 innings pitched … Gave up 13 hits and seven runs (six earned) while walking eight and striking out 11 … Went 1-2 with one save and a 3.38 ERA … Started the Wildcats only home game of the season and earned the win with five strong innings against NJIT, scattering four hits and an earned run while walking two and striking out four … Notched the final four outs of a 4-1 win over Eastern Michigan to tally a save … Logged two scoreless innings in a win over Bucknell … Made two appearances at No. 3 Arizona State and pitched two innings without allowing an earned run.

2019: Limited to two appearances due to an injury … Pitched one inning of relief against Mount St. Mary’s and went two innings versus Western Michigan … In the two outings combined to allow two earned runs on three hits while walking three and striking out six … Fanned five in his two innings of work in the latter appearance against Western Michigan.

2018: Made 18 appearances, including six starts … Finished third on the pitching staff in both games pitched and strikeouts … Totaled 44.0 innings and allowed 53 hits and 34 runs (30 earned) while walking 19 … Struck out 41 and averaged 8.4 strikeouts per nine innings … Had a 2-3 record and a 6.14 ERA on the year … His fist 11 outings of the season came in relief before he started six of his last seven appearances … Five of his 12 appearances out of the bullpen were for two innings or more … In his last four outings prior to his first start, he logged 7 1/3 innings while allowing six hits and striking out eight … The best outing in that span was against Penn when he tossed four scoreless innings and struck out five … Earned the win in the season opener against Norfolk State, going 2 1/3 innings in a 4-2 victory … Notched the win in his first start of the year when he logged five innings and allowed two earned runs in a 3-2 win over Saint Joseph’s … Had a season-high seven strikeouts in starts against La Salle, Seton Hall and Creighton … Pitched a career-high seven innings in the Creighton start, scattering seven hits and yielding just two runs (one earned) with two walks and seven strikeouts.

2017: Tied for third on the team with 18 appearances, including two starts … His 25 strikeouts were fourth on the staff and he averaged 7.7 strikeouts per nine innings … Stranded 72 percent of inherited runners (13-of-18) on the year … Despite a 1-5 record and 6.44 ERA for the season, over his last 15 outings of the year he went 1-2 with two saves and a 1.96 ERA spanning 23.0 innings pitched … Gave up only two extra-base hits and five earned runs in that stretch … In a stretch of nine appearances from April 9-May 3 he tossed 17.0 consecutive scoreless innings, allowed 14 hits (all singles) and had 15 strikeouts while holding the opposition to a .222 average against him … Pitched two scoreless innings against Xavier in the first appearance of that stretch and went a season-high three innings against George Washington … Recorded the final eight outs against Penn to earn his first collegiate save and pitched 2 2/3 scoreless innings to earn his first win of the season against La Salle … Recorded the final two outs against St. John’s on the final day of the season to preserve a 9-6 win and earn another save.

Club Baseball: Played for the Body Armor Titans during his junior and senior years of high school … His team was ranked in the top 50 nationwide by Perfect Game … Earned Perfect Game Northeast All-America honorable mention honors in 2016 … Was ranked No. 13 overall and No. 2 among left-handed pitchers on Long Island by Blue Chip Prospects.

John Glenn High School: Earned three varsity letters as a pitcher and a first baseman on the baseball team … Three-time all-league selection as a sophomore, junior and senior … Named to the all-country team as a junior and a senior … Garnered all-state accolades as a junior … Chosen as an All-Long Island honorable mention pick as a senior … Registered 160 strikeouts in his three varsity seasons, including 71 strikeouts over 44 2/3 innings as a senior … Owned a 1.81 ERA and threw two no-hitters during his scholastic career … Achieved a 4.0 grade-point average academically.
