Villanova Career: Outstanding defensive catcher with good receiving skills and a strong, accurate throwing arm … Has thrown out 38 would-be base stealers during his career…Patient batter from the left side who works the count well and has good on-base skills … Has played in 129 career games with 109 starts and is a .187 hitter with a .326 on-base percentage and a .272 slugging percentage … Has drawn 71 walks and been hit by a pitch nine times in 379 plate appearances … His offensive totals include 56 runs scored and 45 runs batted in to go along with 11 doubles, three triples and five home runs…Behind the plate has recorded 856 putouts, 86 assists and 13 errors for a .986 career fielding percentage … Four-time selection to the BIG EAST All-Academic Team and five-time member of the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll.
 
2023: Appeared in 25 games with 19 starts…Had a .157 batting in 70 at bats with a .326 on-base percentage, and .229 slugging percentage with 11 runs scored and 6 RBIs…Hit one home run and two doubles…Defensively was third in putouts on the team (139), 17 assists, and was second on the team in catching someone stealing (eight)…had a season high 15 putouts against Georgetown on April 2.

2022: Amassed most of his playing time behind the plate and some appearances as the designated hitter for Villanova…. He started 40 of the 42 games he appeared in, defending behind the plate for 35 games… Compiled a .361 on-base percentage in 138 plate appearances while batting .225 (31-for-138) with 19 runs scored and 23 RBI … Hit six doubles and three home runs, walked 27 times and was hit by a pitch three times … Struck out 51 times … Recorded four sacrifice bunts and one sacrifice fly … Counted nine multi-hit games during the year … Reached base safely at least once in 46 of his 42 games played … Had season high of two home runs, three runs scored, five RBIs, and one stolen base all at Delaware State on March 29... Had a four-game streak of drawing at least one walk during the year … His defense behind the plate continued to be excellent and he had 273 putouts, 29 assists and only two errors on the year while compiling a .993 fielding percentage … Behind the plate he had nine pass balls, threw out 14 would-be base stealers on 39 attempts and had two pickoffs from his position behind the plate… Had a season high of 16 putouts at Georgetown on April 2.
 
2021: Earned the bulk of playing time behind the plate for Villanova and started 30 of the team’s 35 games behind the plate … Compiled a .300 on-base percentage in 113 plate appearances while batting .185 (17-for-92) with 14 runs scored and seven RBI … Hit two doubles and a triple, walked 15 times and was hit by a pitch once … Struck out 26 times … Recorded three sacrifice bunts and two sacrifice flies … Batted .333 (8-for-24) against left-handed pitching … Counted four multi-hit games during the year … Reached base safely at least once in 21 of his 30 games played … In a three-game series against Saint Joseph’s on April 1 and April 3 went 4-for-12 with five runs scored, a triple and three walks in a series sweep … Tripled and went 2-for-5 with two runs and an RBI in the middle game of the series … Had two four-game hitting streaks and a five-game streak of drawing at least one walk during the year … His defense behind the plate continued to be excellent and he had 291 putouts, 22 assists and three errors on the year while compiling a .9991 fielding percentage … Threw out 22.2 percent of would-be base stealers and had three pickoffs from his position behind the plate.
 
2020: Played in 11 games with nine starts behind the plate before the season was halted after 14 games … Had one hit and three runs scored while ranking third on the team with nine walks … Struck out eight times, stole one base and had a sacrifice bunt … Handled 78 chances behind the plate with 71 putouts, four assists and three errors … Thew out two would-be base stealers … Drew a season-high two walks on three separate occasions, including in back-to-back games against No. 3 Arizona State in the first two games of the year … Went 1-for-4 with a run scored in a start against Northeastern … Tallied a season-high 10 putouts and an assist in a win over Campbell.
 
2019: Saw playing time in 21 games with 11 starts as a freshman … Batted .220/.316/.380 while going 11-for-50 at the plate … Had a double, two triples and a home run on the year … Scored nine runs and had nine runs batted in … Drew six walks, was hit by a pitch once and struck out 11 times … Played strong defense behind the plate with 82 putouts, 14 assists and three errors (.970 fielding percentage) in 99 total chances … Threw out four would-be base stealers … Had a season-high four RBI on two occasions … Went 3-for-4 with a triple, a home run and two runs scored against Mount St. Mary’s … Also drove in four against Army West Point when he went 2-for-4 with two runs scored, a triple and a walk … Was 2-for-3 with a run scored at Creighton … Appeared in six BIG EAST games with three starts and was 3-for-13 at the plate with three runs scored and one run batted in … Had a season-high 10 putouts in starts against Seton Hall and Georgetown during conference play.
