Glenbrook South High School: Earned four varsity letters in field hockey as a midfielder … Second team all-state honoree as a senior and was a two-time all-conference selection her junior and senior seasons … Winner of the Captain Award as a senior … Posted career highs of 17 goals, 19 assists and 55 points her senior season while leading her team to a fourth-place finish in the IHSA state tournament … Earned Honors as a Scholar-Athlete all four years of her scholastic career.

Club Field Hockey: Played for Windy City Field Hockey for seven years … Part of the U16 Windy City Inferno team which won the Regional Cup Tournament in 2019 as well as the U14 Windy City Spark which won the USA National Hockey Festival in 2017.

Personal: Born 7/14/04 in Lancaster, Pa. … One of three children of Hugo and Marieke van der Goes … Has a twin sister, Sanne, and a younger brother, Marnix … Father played professional field hockey in the Netherlands on the first team for Hockey Club Rotterdam … Sister also plays collegiate field hockey and is a freshman at Babson … Hobbies include reading, running and hiking … Has volunteered her time at the Wrightway Animal Shelter near her home … Chose to attend Villanova for its amazing academics and the close-knit community, especially that of the field hockey program … Plans to major in Economics.
