2024: Played and started in 16 games … Recorded a career-high 54 saves … Logged three shutouts – vs. Sacred Heart (Sept. 1), vs. La Salle (Sept. 16) and vs. Temple (Oct. 25) – the first Villanova goalkeeper to do so since Jordyn Clipstone (4) in 2014 … Maintained a 1.758 goals-against average, fourth-best in the BIG EAST and 40th nationally … Posted a career-best seven saves vs. Drexel (Sept. 6) … Played a career-high 72 minutes at William & Mary (Sept. 22), making three saves in the double-OT win.

2023: Appeared in six games in goal during her freshman season starting in the BIG EAST Semifinals vs. Liberty… Made 10 saves on the year including a 0.615 save percentage while facing 49 shots… Recorded her first career win over Providence which sent Villanova to the BIG EAST Tournament.

Club Field Hockey: Played for Kennett Crush Field Hockey Club for four years and Powerhouse FH for three years … Two-time National Indoor Tournament medalist.

Kennett High School: Multi-sport athlete in high school who was a four-year member of the varsity field hockey roster … Also played two years of varsity softball, was a three-year member of the indoor track & field team and had one year on the outdoor squad as a 400 meter and 800 meter runner … High school teammate of current Villanova field hockey teammate Emma Schwarz … Two-time first team all-league and first team all-area field hockey selection her junior and senior seasons … Team MVP as a junior and a senior … Team captain her senior year and won the Booster Club Excellence Award … Earned second team all-league honors and was her team’s Unsung Hero as a sophomore … Recorded a total of 364 saves spanning her junior and senior seasons … As a track runner qualified for the Chesmont meet in the 400 meters her junior year … Achieved Honor Roll status academically all four years … Inducted to the National Honor Society.

Personal: Born 9/2/05 in West Chester, Pa. … Older of two children of Michael and Deborah Sears … Has a younger brother, Benjamin (14) … Father played college basketball at Neumann … Enjoys spending time with friends, listening to music, working out and being with her dogs in her spare time … Chose to attend Villanova because the atmosphere made the school feel like home … Noted the strong sense of pride among students as well as the strong academic and athletic reputations which would open up opportunities for her … Plans to major in Exploratory Science.
