Career: Has played in 17 career games over the course of her three collegiate seasons getting brief bursts of time on the Wildcats attack … Two-time member of the NFHCA National Academic Squad … Three-time member of the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll every semester of her collegiate career.
 
2024: Played in a career-best nine games … Scored her first career goal vs. Mercyhurst (Sept. 9) … Logged two shots, putting one on goal vs. Georgetown (Sept. 20) … Played a career-high 30 minutes vs. Mercyhurst.
 
2023: Saw action in four games during her sophomore season … Appeared in two wins over Longwood and Penn.
 
2022: Appeared in three games on the Villanova offense … Appeared in three home games versus LIU on August 26, Saint Francis on September 18 and Georgetown on October 28.

Oak Knoll School of the Holy Child: Earned three varsity letters in field hockey as a forward and was also a midfielder on the lacrosse team her freshman year … As a senior was a team captain and was named a Top 100 senior by NJ.com … Helped her team win state and county championships in each of her three varsity seasons, as well as a New Jersey Tournament of Champions title her sophomore year when the team was ranked No. 1 in the country … Earned second team all-state non-public accolades as a senior … Was also a second team all-county and second team All-Union Essex County her senior year … As a junior earned honorable mention all-conference and all-county laurels … Named to the NFHCA National Academic Squad her junior and senior seasons … Achieved Honor Roll status academically all four years.
 
Club Field Hockey: Played for New Heights from 2017-22 … Played for U16 teams that were ranked No. 1 nationally in 2020 and third in the country in 2019.
 
Personal: Born 1/3/04 in New Brunswick, N.J. … Youngest of four children of Matthew and Michele Albano … Has three older siblings: Matthew (29), Juliana (27) and Marielle (24) … Enjoys sailing in her spare time … Older sister also attended Villanova which helped lead her to enroll as well … Noted the support offered by the field hockey coaching staff and Villanova’s elite academic reputation as factors that made it her dream school … Has yet to declare a major.
