Duane Robinson

Duane Robinson serves as a Sports Performance Coach at Villanova University, joining the Athletics Health and Performance team full-time in September 2023. In his current role, he designs and implements strength and conditioning programs for the Wildcats' Field Hockey, Cross Country/Track and Field, and Golf programs.
 
Robinson's journey at Villanova began in 2022 as a volunteer intern with the Football program. He transitioned to a paid internship during the 2022-23 academic year, continuing his work with Football while also serving as the interim Sports Performance Coach for Softball. His impact and commitment to student-athlete development led to his appointment as a full-time Sports Performance Coach in 2023.
 
In addition to his collegiate experience, Robinson founded HGH PWR Movement LLC in 2016, where he provided performance training services to athletes of various ages and competitive levels. Through this venture, he collaborated with external organizations, including a year-round travel baseball program, helping athletes enhance performance through evidence-based training methodologies.
 
Duane holds the Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) credential through the National Strength and Conditioning Association and is certified through USA Weightlifting at both the Level 1 and Level 2 levels. He also holds the Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES) designation from the National Academy of Sports Medicine and maintains CPR/AED certification. Additionally, Robinson has pursued continuing education through ALTIS, StrongFirst (SFG Level 1), and Functional Range Conditioning (Movement Specialist), reflecting his commitment to professional growth and the advancement of athlete performance and movement quality.
 
Robinson earned a Bachelor of Arts in Individualized Studies with a concentration in Fashion Merchandising from Arcadia University in 2022.
