2023: Earned second team All-CAA accolades…Ranked second on the team in tackles with 89 total stops to go with a team-high 11.5 tackles for loss, three sacks, a team-best two forced fumbles and one interception…Earned CAA Defensive Player of the Week honors for his play versus Rhode Island when he had eight tackles (six solo), two tackles for loss and a sack versus Rhode Island…Named the CAA Defensive Player of the Week for a second time in 2023 when he tallied a career-high 14 tackles to go with one interception and one forced fumble at New Hampshire…Credited with nine tackles and two tackles for loss at UCF…Made 12 tackles, one sack and a tackle for loss at Delaware…Posted nine tackles, three quarterback hurries and a tackle for loss versus Youngstown State in the second round of the NCAA playoffs…Recorded seven tackles, a tackle for loss and a forced fumble at South Dakota State in the quarterfinal round of the NCAA playoffs.Â
2022: Played in nine games and had 54 tackles (31 solo/23 assisted) to go with six tackles for loss, three pass break-ups and a fumble recovery…Made a career-high 12 tackles, including nine solo stops and three tackles for loss versus Delaware…Posted 10 tackles at Towson…Made eight total stops versus Lehigh…Registered a fumble recovery at LIU.
2021: Played in 12 games while seeing time on both defense and special teams … Tallied five tackles and a blocked kick;
Lehigh (9/4): Made one solo tackle in the season opener;
Bucknell (9/11): Had one solo stop;
UAlbany (10/16): Blocked a punt which was recovered and returned for a touchdown just before halftime in a road win against the Great Danes;
Stony Brook (11/13): Credited with two assisted tackles;
South Dakota State (12/11): Recorded one solo tackle in the second round of the FCS playoffs.

2020 (Spring 2021): Saw action in all four games of the season … Recorded nine total tackles with one solo stop and eight assisted tackles … Was credited with half a sack;
Stony Brook (3/6): Made his collegiate debut in the season opener and registered four assisted tackles, including half a sack for a loss of five yards;
Rhode Island (3/13): Tallied one assisted stop in the Wildcats home opener;
Maine (4/3): Registered four tackles, including a solo stop and three assisted tackles.

Personal: Born 6/18/02 in Morristown, N.J. … Youngest of four children of Christopher and Heather Bell … Siblings are Ryan (26), Collin (23) and Haley (21) … Brother, Ryan, was a tight end at Villanova from 2014-18 and was a third team CAA Football All-Conference performer … Enjoys fishing and hiking in his spare time … Chose to attend Villanova for its campus and the people he met … Has yet to declare a major.
