Daniel Erickson serves as an Associate Athletic Trainer in Villanova's Sports Medicine department and functions as the athletic trainer for men's basketball, a role he's had since 2020.
Prior to Villanova, Dan spent 2 years as the Head Athletic Trainer with the Delaware Blue Coats, the Philadelphia 76ers’ G-League affiliate, from 2018-20. He also worked for the Orlando Magic from 2014-18, serving as an Athletic Trainer Associate for a year, and the Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach for three seasons.
Before Dan’s stint in Orlando, he served as an athletic trainer at East Stroudsburg University working with field hockey, women’s volleyball, wrestling and baseball (2013-14), and spent two summer training camps with the Philadelphia Eagles as an Athletic Training intern (2013-14)
Dan is a native of Haddon Heights, N.J., who in 2012 received his Bachelor of Science and in 2013 his Master of Science in Athletic Training from East Stroudsburg University.
Dan resides in Bryn Mawr with his wife Morgan and dog Kobe.
