Villanova Univeristy Athletics

Daniel Erickson, MS, ATC, LAT, CSCS, serves as an Associate Athletic Trainer in Villanova University's Sports Medicine department and has served as the athletic trainer for the Men's Basketball program since 2020.
 
Prior to joining Villanova, Erickson spent two years as Head Athletic Trainer for the Delaware Blue Coats, the NBA G League affiliate of the Philadelphia 76ers (2018-20). Before his time with the Blue Coats, he was a member of the Orlando Magic organization from 2014-18, serving one season as an Athletic Trainer Associate and three seasons as an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach.
 
Earlier in his career, Erickson worked as an athletic trainer at East Stroudsburg University, providing care for the Field Hockey, Women's Volleyball, Wrestling, and Baseball programs during the 2013-14 academic year. He also completed athletic training internships with the Philadelphia Eagles during the organization's 2013 and 2014 training camps.
 
A native of Haddon Heights, New Jersey, Erickson earned both his Bachelor of Science (2012) and Master of Science in Athletic Training (2013) from East Stroudsburg University.
Erickson resides in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, with his wife, Morgan, their son, Wesley, and their dog, Kobe.
