After serving two seasons as a graduate manager, Matt Fraschilla was elevated to the position of Video Coordinator in 2019. He served in that capacity during the 2019-20 season as Villanova earned a share of the BIG EAST regular season championship with a 24-7 overall, 13-5 BIG EAST record.
In this capacity Fraschilla oversees video responsibilities for the coaching staff. This includes working closely with the staff to create opponent scout tapes. He also serves as a producer for "Talking Villanova Basketball with Jay Wright Presented by Hartford Funds", a podcast that airs throughout the academic year.Â
Fraschilla played four seasons of basketball at Harvard University from 2013-17. During his playing career, Fraschilla appeared in 24 games for the Crimson.
A native of Dallas, Tex., Frashilla attended Highland Park High School. His father, Fran Fraschilla, is the former head basketball coach at Manhattan, St. John's and New Mexico who has been an ESPN analyst since leaving coaching in 2004. His mother is Meg Fraschilla and has one one sibling, James (2).
