Tyson West returned to Villanova in the summer of 2023 to assume the post of Video Coordinator, succeeding Tim Saunders, who joined the new staff of George Halcovage at the University of Buffalo. He enters his second season in the role in 2024-25.
West, the sone of legendary Villanova guard and current Philadelphia 76ers assistant coach Doug West, previously served from 2019-21 as a graduate manager while pursuing a Master's degree in higher education.
Tyson West is a graduate of The Linsly School in Wheeling, West Virginia. He earned a degree in Psychology from Penn State Altoona, where he also playd three seasons of varisty basketball.
