2016-17 Overview: After originally contemplating a red-shirt season, he was pressed into action after OmariSpellmanwas deemed by the NCAA to be an academic red-shirt ... By season's end he was garnering rotational minutes at forward.

2016-17 NCAA Tournament Highlights: Logged his first NCAA Tournament action in a 76-56 win over Mount St. Mary's.

2016-17 BIG EAST Tournament Highlights:Recorded season highs in points (10), rebounds (six) and minutes (22) in a 108-67 win over St. John's in a BIG EAST Tournament quarterfinal on March 9.

2016-17 BIG EAST Regular Season Highlights: Logged 10 minutes of activity in an 81-55 win at Georgetown on March 4 ... Collected two rebounds in 10 minutes of a 79-63 win over Creighton on Feb. 25 ... Scored two points and added a rebound in 13 minutes of action at Seton Hall on Feb. 18 ... Contributed two points, four rebounds and 12 minutes in a 75-62 BIG EAST win at DePaul on Feb. 13 ... Picked up two rebounds in three minutes of a 73-57 win at Xavier on Feb. 11 ... Logged a season high 11 minutes, grabbing two rebounds and adding a free throw, in a 92-79 victory over St. John's on Feb. 4 at the Wells Fargo Center .. Collected two rebounds in four minutes of a 76-46 victory over Seton Hall on Jan. 16 ... Appeared in his first BIG EAST game for two minutes in a 93-81 victory over Marquette on Jan. 7.

2016-17 No-Conference Highlights: Earned eight minutes of activity on Nov. 29 at Penn ... Contributed three points and a rebound to a 63-47 Villanova victory over the College of Charleston on Nov. 23 ... Added a rebound in a 96-77 victory over Wake Forest on Nov. 18 ... Tallied two points and a rebound in his collegiate debut against Lafayette on Nov. 11 at the Pavilion.
