CAREER COLLEGIATE RESULTS
Comes off of successful redshirt freshman seasons in cross country, indoors and outdoors in 2024-25 ... During the year he recorded PRs in the 1500 meters (3:52.00), the mile (4:10.90) and the 3000 meters (8:47.41) ... Won a BIG EAST title running the 800 meter leg of the team's conference champion distance medley relay indoors in the first conference championship race of his career ... Competed in the preliminary heats of the 1500 meters at the outdoor BIG EAST meet ... Made two starts during the 2024 cross country season ... Member of the 2023-24 BIG EAST All-Academic Team and has been named to the Athletic Director's Honor Roll in each of his first three semesters on campus.

St. Rose High School: Earned a total of 11 varsity letters competing in cross country and track & field during his scholastic career … High school teammate of fellow Villanova distance runner Tilly O’Connor … Named his school’s Athlete of the Year to go along with All-Monmouth County, All-Shore Conference and all-non public accolades … Helped lead his team to six state titles … Over his junior and senior years was a part of 17 state championship individual and relay titles … Tallied 15 school record performances … Graduated in the top 10 of his class … Achieved High Honor Roll status academically all four years … Two-year inductee to the National Honor Society.

Personal: Born 9/15/04 in Wall Township, N.J. … One of three children of Stephen and Kara Theobald … Has two older siblings, Megan (26) and Timothy (26) … Father was a collegiate decathlete at Rutgers … Nephew of former Villanova women’s track & field and cross country star Cheri Goddard who is an inductee to the Varsity Club Hall of Fame and was a nine-time All-American and BIG EAST champion during her collegiate career … His uncle, Rich Kenah, competed in college at Georgetown and was a World Championships bronze medalist as well as an Olympics qualifier in the 800 meters … Enjoys surfing in his spare time … Chose to attend Villanova for its amazing academics and the incredible cross country and track & field team … Enrolled in the Villanova School of Business and has yet to declare a major.
