Biography
CAREER COLLEGIATE RESULTS
On the short list of the nation's top collegiate distance runners ... Has developed into a world-class athlete during his Villanova career and is coming off a 2024-25 campaign in which he became the ninth men's athlete in school history to be an All-American in cross country, indoors and outdoors in the same academic year ... He is a six-time All-American overall entering 2025-26 (three indoor, two outdoor, one cross country) ... His sixth place finish in the 5000 meters at the indoor NCAA Championships in March 2025 is the highest in that event for any Villanova men's athlete, while his third place finish in the 5K outdoors later in the year matches the Wildcats best in nine years ... On March 27, 2025 he and teammate Liam Murphy each broke the standing NCAA record in the 1500 meters at the Raleigh Relays ... Murphy ran 3:33.02 to set a new record and Langon ran 3:33.38 for what was then the second-fastest time in NCAA and collegiate history ... The pair previously formed half of the Wildcats lineup in the 4xMile relay in April 2024 which recorded the second-fastest time (15:51.91) in world history while winning a Championship of America title at the Penn Relays ... At the 2025 indoor NCAA Championships he became the second Villanova men's athlete ever to post top-eight national finishes indoors in two individual events in the same year, joining Wildcats legend Marty Liquori who was the NCAA champion in both the mile and the two mile in 1971 ... Won his third straight BIG EAST title in the 5000 meters outdoors in 2025 with a meet record time of 13:27.21 ... His gold medals in the 5K span the 2024 outdoor, 2025 indoor and 2025 outdoor BIG EAST meets ... He broke the previous meet record outdoors of 13:43.32 which his own teammate Murphy had set just two years earlier ... As of June 2025 he ranks second in school history to Murphy in both the 3000 meters (7:36.87) and the 5000 meters (13:14.11), as well as third in the 1500 meters (3:33.38) and sixth in the mile (3:54.60) ... Holds three of the six fastest times in the Villanova record book in the 5000 meters, as well as three of the nine fastest times in the 3000 meters ... One of 49 sub-four minute milers in Villanova history ... Part of a BIG EAST title indoors in the distance medley relay in 2024 ... Nine-time All-BIG EAST performer spanning the cross country, indoor and outdoor seasons through the end of the 2025 outdoor campaign ... Has national and international experience gained in competition in the U20 races at both the USATF Cross Country Championships and the World Athletics Cross Country Championships in 2023 ...
