A hip injury that required surgery caused him to miss the entire 2011 season ... Stays calm when the heat is on ... Anticipates shots well and places himself in good position to see the ball ... Also has a strong leg and quick reaction time.

Accepted a medical redshirt after undergoing off-season hip surgery.

2010

Started 17 games in goal for the Wildcats ... Made 81 saves with a .786 save percentage ... Delivered six shutouts, including wins over Rutgers (1-0) and St. Johns (3-0) ... Posted a 1.17 goals against average.

2009

Started all 19 games in net for the Wildcats, posting a 1.28 goals against average ... Posted four shutouts and a .736 save percentage ... Delivered shutout wins over Columbia (1-0) and Rutgers (3-0) in a critical stretch in October ... Opened the campaign by helping stymie Loyola 1-0 on Sept. 1.

Won a duel with classmate John Fogarty in camp to claim the starting nod and went on to log all 1783:52 the Wildcats played in net ... Posted seven victories and seven shutouts ... Played club soccer for RFC 89 (based in Northern Virginia) ... A two-time defensive player of the year for his squad which captured consecutive Washington Catholic League titles ... Gonzaga was ranked No. 25 in the nation during the 2007 season.
