Career: Started in all 18 games in her one season as a Wildcat for 1318 minutes on the pitch ...Closed out her career with 64 starts and 84 games played to her name … Found the back of the net six times for the ‘Cats, adding an assist for 13 points to bring her career total to 63 points on 22 goals and 19 assists … Landed 79 of her 180 shot attempts on target for a .439 shot on goal percentage, 22 of those on goal coming at Villanova in 56 tries.

2023: All-BIG EAST Second Team and Philly-SIDA Academic All-Area selection while adding two BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll accolades (August 21, Sept. 4) … Started in all 18 games for the ‘Cats, logging 1318 minutes of action … Led the team with 13 points and six goals … Led the offensive charge with 56 shot attempts, 22 of those on target which was also a team best … Had a season-best outing in a 3-1 win over George Mason on Sept. 3, scoring four points on two goals … BIG EAST: Was second in the BIG EAST with 3.11 shots per game … Started in all 10 conference games with 30 shots and eight on goal … Scored a goal each against Creighton and Marquette.

At Campbell: Richards comes to the Main Line following a two-year stint at Campbell where she was a two-time All-Big South player, landing a spot on the second team as a junior and the first team as a senior. She was also named to the United Soccer Coaches All-Southeast Region Third team in 2021. With the Camels, she appeared in 35 games with 34 starts, totaling over 2,500 minutes of time on the pitch with 13 goals and 17 assists for 43 points. In her senior campaign alone, she tallied at least one point in 12 of the 17 games she played in.

At Xavier: Richards helped the Musketeers to BIG EAST Regular Season and Championship titles in her freshman campaign. In two seasons, she accounted for three goals and an assist in 1,206 minutes of action.

High School: Richards was an All-Conference selection each year. She was named to the Honorable Mention list in her freshman campaign, Second Team as a sophomore and junior before landing a First Team spot as a senior. She was the Berks County Player of the Year in the fall of 2018, leading the county with 116 points on 49 goals and 18 assists. She also joined the All-State and Regional teams and was a finalist for Reading Eagle Athlete of the Year. A three-sport athlete, she earned four letters in both soccer and track and field and added a letter in lacrosse. She also played at the club level with Reading Rage SC under Eric Puls.

Personal: Born July 12, 2001 ... One of two children to Bernie and Lesley Richards ... Has a sister, Megan ... Plans to study Public Admin at Villanova. “I chose Villanova because of the community that is immersed throughout the entire school and athletic department. Each and every individual is driven and focused primarily on growth which is motivational to see.
