Career: Lauded as BIG EAST Freshman of the Week once in debut season … Has made six starts in 17 matches … Scored two goals and an assist for five points.

2024: BIG EAST Freshman of the Week (August 19) … Made six starts in 17 appearances in debut season, playing in 703 minutes … Scored five points on two goals and an assist … Had a breakout performance in the win over Temple, scoring two goals and making four shot attempts; BIG EAST: Played in nine conference games with five starts … Logged an assist against St. John’s (10/13).

High School: Kotch has been a decorated soccer player at The Pennington School, earning various honors from the local, state, regional and national levels including being named New Jersey’s Gatorade Player of the Year in 2024. She was tabbed an All-Prep and All-American Team player twice and added All-State and Top 20 Central Region honors in her sophomore season. As a junior, she was named the Prep Player of the Year and Area Player of the Year. She played at the club level with Real Jersey FC and was a member of the Capelli Sport USA Team. She was a dual-sport athlete in high school, also playing varsity basketball. Academically, she earned High Honors in a semester four times and was a two-time member of the Dean’s List.

Personal: Native of Yardville, N.J. born May 19, 2006 … One of three children to Darrin and Michelle Kotch … Has two siblings, Mackenzie and Dylan … Brother, Dylan, plays soccer at Rider and father, Darrin, played baseball at Rutgers before playing in the Montreal Expos minor league system … Plans to pursue a Business degree … “I chose Villanova because from the moment I stepped onto campus, I knew this was a place that I could eventually call home. I had an amazing visit, the coaches and team were very welcoming and I left the visit feeling sure that I would succeed academically and athletically at Villanova.”
