Career: Has made one start in 11 appearances with 327 minutes played … Found the back of the net twice for four points.

2025: Made one Opening XI appearance in her 11 matches played … Scored two goals, both in BIG EAST play … Placed three of her eight shot attempts on frame … Had the game-winning goal at DePaul (10/1) … Logged her first start in the season finale against Butler (11/1) … Played a season-high 45 minutes against Georgetown (10/25) and Providence (11/1).

2024: Appeared in no games.

High School: In 2021 as a freshman for Smyrna High School, Zapata broke and set a new single season scoring record with 33 goals.  She was named in the state’s top XI and received her first varsity letter as a freshman forward for Smyrna High. In 2023, as a Junior, she broke Smyrna’s all-time scoring record with 80 goals and was named HS State Soccer Player of the Year. Zapata ended her high school career as a two time All-American and received Top XI, First Team All-State, and All-Conference honors all four years, while setting a new high school scoring record with 102 goals. She was a captain of her club team, Sporting Delaware, where she was selected for both the US Youth National Team Talent ID Center and the USYSS ODP East Regional ID Camp. Away from soccer, Zapata was on the Indoor Track team as a sprinter and was a defensive specialist on the volleyball team. She finished third in the state of Delaware for the 55m dash in 2022.
