2025: Burst onto the scene as one of the top freshmen in the league, starting all 28 matches for Villanova … Earned BIG EAST All-Freshman Team after hitting .355 with 166 kills and a team-best 112 blocks … Led the team in blocks 14 times, including the team's top five marks on the year … Began her collegiate career with eight kills on .615 hitting against Santa Clara … Picked up the league's Freshman of the Week honors after nine blocks versus St. John's in the BIG EAST opener … Totaled her first double-digit kill effort with 10 against DePaul … Won BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week on Oct. 27 after a career-best 10-block effort opposite Marquette  … Earned mention on Nov. 17's BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll after 15 kills and 12 blocks in a two-win weekend … After just one year, ranks in the VU top three for blocks per set.

Personal: Born 8/14/06 … One of three children of Ryan and Katrina McGivern… Has two siblings: Brady and Mallory … Plans to major in business and real estate … Chose to attend Villanova for "the welcoming environment, high academics and how much I loved the team and coaching staff. I know that being a part of this school and program will make me a strong athlete, student and person."

Steinbach on McGivern: "Reagan is a complete middle who has really good blocking feel and an arm that can score in the BIG EAST. She can hit every type of middle set well, which makes her a natural fit for an offense like ours."
