VILLANOVA, PA- On Wednesday, March 21, the Villanova University baseball team's game versus La Salle scheduled for 3:00 p.m. at Richie Ashburn Field in Philadelphia, has been cancelled due to the inclement weather. It is the Wildcats' second home rainout of the season, with the first coming on March 13 against St. Joseph's.

Villanova (7-7-1 overall/ 1-2-0 Big East) will get back into action on Friday, March 23, traveling to Norwich, Conn. to face the University of Connecticut Huskies (3-12-0 overall/ 1-2-0 Big East) in a doubleheader beginning at 12:00 p.m. The game will be held at Dodd Stadium in Norwich, Conn., due to the unplayable status of the Huskies home field in Storrs, Conn. Dodd Stadium is the home of the Norwich Navigators, the AA affiliate of the New York Yankees.
