VILLANOVA, Pa.--Senior midfielder Jonathan Lopuski (Montville, N.J.) and freshman forward Dan DeMasters (Lititz, Pa.) earned NSCAA/Adidas Mid-Atlantic Regional All-American status for their accomplishments on the Villanova men's soccer squad during the 2004 season, it was announced today.

Lopuski, a second team selection, ranked third on the squad in scoring with two goals and three assists for seven points. He played in all 18 games for the Wildcats, and with DeMasters, helped lead Villanova to its best conference record in school history, 5-3-2.

DeMasters, a third team selection, is coming off an outstanding freshman campaign in which he led the 2004 team in scoring with five goals and two assists for twelve points.

This season, the Wildcats hosted their first ever Big East tournament game. Villanova hosted Georgetown in the quarterfinals. The teams played to a 1-1 tie, however the Hoyas advanced to the semifinals on penalty kicks.

Villanova ended its 2004 season with a record of 7-5-6.
