Recap?|? Final Stats?|? Notes

Villanova guard Mike Nardi on Rutgers' Ricky Shields, who had six 3-pointers and 21 points:

"He's a tough competitor. He drilled shots from deep, and just about every shot was contested, with a hand in his face. To his tribute, he can just flat out knock it down."

Nardi on playing at the RAC:

"They were 15-2 at home coming into tonight. The RAC has always been a tough place to play for Big East teams. You can't come in here and make mistakes."

Villanova forward Jason Fraser on his own progress:

"It would make anyone feel better, just to be out there, because I struggled early on through some injuries, and now I feel like I've been getting better each game."

Villanova guard Allan Ray on the 2003-04 season:

"I thought from the beginning this year that we had a pretty good team, even though we were young. We learned a lot this year, and we're going to try to take these experiences and bring them into next year."
