Villanova, PA - The BIG EAST Conference announced on Monday that two Villanova Wildcats were named to the Weekly Honor roll for their play last week. Senior goalkeeper Alex Whalen and Freshman midfielder Emily Donaldson were both chosen by the conference for their roles in the Wildcats 1-0 win over Syracuse on Friday.

In the game, Whalen recorded four saves and earned her second consecutive shutout and third of the season. This selection also marks the third time in the last four weeks that Whalen has been named to the Honor Roll. Donaldson scored the lone goal for the Wildcats, and it was her fifth goal of the season and second game-winner.
