Villanova, PA - Junior Monique Morgan, Villanova's lone competitor at the Sykes-Sabock Challenge Cup, ran an NCAA-qualifying time in the 60m hurdles this past Friday in the meet at Penn State.

Competing in her specialty, Morgan ran a NCAA provisional qualifying time of 8.38 seconds. The performance was good enough to place her second overall in the event and place her in good position going into this week's Big East Track and Field Championships.

The Big East Championships will be held at Akron University, Akron,Ohio, February 18-19.
