Villanova Hosts Annual Tuppeny Twilight Meet

Villanova, Pa. -Villanova University hosted the annual Tuppeny Twilight meet on a rain-soaked evening at Villanova Stadium. The meet was delayed for an hour due to a lightning delay.

On the women's side, Akilah Vargas ran third in the 400m dash. Jordan Sarruda and Emily McMillan ran in the 800m run. Casey Nelson and Lindsay Kos placed in the 1500m run.

Elliot Whaley ran a personal best to win the 400m hurdles. Robert Curtis, Terence Byrnes, and Brandon Eck ran in the 800m. Matt Papson placed third in the javelin throw, while Robert McDade finished second in the discus throw. Andrew Keino and Mark Korich placed 2-3 in the 1500m. William Sepich and Mike Kerrigan also competed in the event. Craig Segal placed second in the 5000m run; Geoffrey Doody and Ellis Wilson also competed in the event.
