Andy Talley's 97th league victory in today's game ties him with Bill Bowes of New Hampshire for the all-time record. The league has been in existence in one form or another since 1947. It was the Yankee Conference from 1947-96, the Atlantic 10 Conference from 1997-2006 and is currently the CAA.
At halftime of today's game Villanova had scored in 11 consecutive quarters and 17 of the last 18 quarters it had played over a span of five games. The 11-quarter streak ended when the Wildcats did not score in the third quarter of today's game.
Marcoux tied the single-season school record for field goals to move even with Bill Hoffman (1992) and Mark Kiefer (1997). Marcoux is 13-of-17 on field goal attempts this season and leads the CAA in scoring with 7.9 points per game (63 points; 13 made field goals and 24-of-25 point-after attempts). He is also four field goal attempts away from matching Hoffman's school record of 21 that he set in 1992.

The Wildcats improved to 5-3 all-time at Parsons Field in their first game at the venue since 2004. Villanova also leads the all-time series with Northeastern by a 10-5 count. Today's game was only the fifth time in the 15 meetings that the winning team did not have at least 30 points.
The Wildcats have won four of their last five games against opponents from the CAA North Division since the start of last season. Villanova is also 17-4 versus all FCS opponents going back to the last four games of the 2006 campaign.
