VILLANOVA, Pa. - The Villanova Wildcats have added another newcomer to the 2014 roster with sophomore midfielder Andreas Bartosinski, a native of Engelskirchen, Germany, now officially on the roster.

Bartosinski is eligible and available for the 2014 regular season, which begins tonight at Marist.

"Andreas has played at a high level in Germany for many years with his FC Köln club team," states Villanova head coach Tom Carlin. "He will be an immediate impact player in the middle of the field for us. His technical skill level and ability to cover space defensively will be a great asset to us. I have spent a lot of time with this young man and we are very impressed by his character."
