VILLANOVA, Pa. - The Villanova Invitational women's tennis tournament has been cancelled this weekend due to inclement weather in the area.

Hurricane Joaquin, a category four storm off the east coast, is expected to bring heavy rains from Friday until early next week.

The women's tennis team has one more tournament this fall, the SUNY Albany Great Dane Invitational next weekend, before the ITA Championships from Oct. 14-18.
