Series History: Tuesday marks the 35th meeting between the two schools with the all-time series favoring the Wildcats 19-15. The Wildcats claimed last season's outing on February 25th, 2014 in an 11-10 overtime victory at Villanova Stadium. 'Nova Defense: Junior Greg Stamatov (Foxboro, Mass.) and sophomore Dan Willis (Moorestown, N.J.) have each played 60 minutes in net for the Wildcats and have combined for a .512 save percentage and 21 saves on the season. The starting trio on close defense, sophomores Danny Sweeney (Glenelg, Md.), Nate Gorman (Swewll, N.J.) and junior John Moderski (Philadelphia, Pa.) have combined for eight ground balls and two caused turnovers while junior LSM Jordan Cunningham (Atlanta, Ga.) has registered three ground balls and four caused turnovers.

The Last Meeting (2/25/14): The Wildcats rallied from a three-goal deficit and came back to tie the contest on five separate occasions before netting the game-winner in overtime as Villanova defeated No. 15 Drexel 11-10 at Villanova Stadium. The Wildcats never led in the contest until Austin Frederick's game-winner but dominated the time of possession and outshot the Dragons by a 57-34 margin for the game.
