VILLANOVA, Pa. - Villanova junior Johnny Gallaway (Middletown, Md.) and freshman Luke Palmadesso (Yorktown Heights, N.Y.) have been named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll for their performances following a 9-8 loss against Marquette over the weekend. It marks the first career honor for Gallaway and the second weekly honor this season for Palmadesso.

Gallaway led Villanova with a career-high four goals in a 9-8 loss vs. #13 Marquette on Saturday at Villanova Stadium, where he led all scorers for the afternoon for both the visitors and the Wildcats. The junior attackman also picked up four ground balls and caused one turnover in a game that featured eight tied-scores and five lead changes. For the season, Gallaway is fourth on the team with 12 goals and fifth on the team with 12 points.

Palmadesso also led the Wildcats by winning 15-of-21 (.714) faceoff's for the afternoon against Marquette to help Villanova keep possession in the back and forth contest. Additionally, his eight ground balls led all players in the contest. For the season, Palmadesso records a 50% FO win percentage and is tied for first on the team with 31 ground balls.

Villanova returns to action this week when they face No. 5 Denver on Friday, April 3rd. Game time is slated for 8:30 p.m. ET and will be broadcast live on Fox Sports 1.
