NEW YORK, N.Y. - Villanova freshman Luke Pamadesso (Yorktown Heights, N.Y.) has been named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll for his performance against then-No.17 Georgetown over the weekend, as announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon. The honor marks the third for the faceoff specialist this season who leads the team in conference honors for the year.

Palmadesso registered a career-high winning 22-of-26 (.846) faceoff's against the Hoyas on Saturday, April 11th and added in additional nine ground balls in the outstanding effort. Despite the dominance at X, the Wildcats fell 17-8 in a critical conference matchup. For the season, Palmadesso has tallied a 53% win percentage winning 106-of-201 attempts in his first year with the Wildcats. Additionally, the freshman leads the team with 42 ground balls.

Villanova will return to Villanova Stadium for their final regular season home game of the year when they host St. John's on Saturday, April 18th. Game time is slated for 7 p.m.
