Chris Hill, who played an integral role in the success of the Villanova Wildcats over the last three seasons in a variety of spots, recently signed a contract with the Harrisburg City Islanders to continue his soccer career.

Villanova head coach Tom Carlin lauded Hill's consistent approach."You always knew that he was 100 percent committed to the coaching staff, teammates and program," Carlin said. "Chris played in numerous positions during his tenure and brought his usual blend of athleticism, intelligence and industriousness to all of them.

"We are very excited for Chris." Hill played a pivotal role for the Wildcats over his three seasons in the Blue and White after transferring from the University of Richmond, which dropped its men's soccer program in 2013. The native of Farmingdale, N.J., started all 33 games he appeared in over the last two seasons for the Wildcats.

As a senior Hill is currently completing his second semester academic responsibilities and will join the Islanders once he completes his course work.
