CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. - Senior sprinter Shanice Grant (Kingston, Jamaica) was in action for Villanova at the Virginia Challenge on Saturday afternoon. She competed in the 100 meter hurdles and the 200 meters at Lannigan Field, where she registered times of 13.60 and 24.54.

Grant finished in eighth place out of 40 competitors in the 100 meter hurdles in her first race of the day. She returned to the track later in the afternoon and came in ninth out of 39 entries in the 200 meters.
