Merion Station, Pa. - The Wildcats (0-4) dropped their fourth game of the season to the Saint Joseph's University Hawks (3-1) on Sunday afternoon. The final score of the game was 4-0. At the half, the game was tied, with sophomore goalkeeper, Erika Miller, recording one save. Junior, Francesca Bello took both corners for the Wildcats in the first half. In the start of the second period, the Hawks scored within a minute of play. Soon after, Villanova was awarded another corner, taken by Allison Sayia, but two minutes later, the Hawks scored the second goal of the game. In the 63rd minute of play, Saint Joseph's scored their third goal and with the clock ending, a loose ball in front of the cage, resulted in another goal for the Hawks, scoring 4-0). Fifth year senior, Taylor Kidwell recorded a defensive save, her second save of the season. Goalie, Erika Miller, finished with two saves, while allowing four goals. The Wildcats finished five shots, with one being on goal. Villanova returns to action on September 10, when they travel to Ann Arbor, Michigan to take on Michigan University for a 1pm start time.
