Junior faceoff specialist Luke Palmadesso was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll as announced by the conference office Monday afternoon.

Palmadesso was 17-of-25 from the X during the season opener against Monmouth. He also collected a team high seven ground balls during the 12-10 loss to the Hawks. His .680 faceoff winning percentage is ninth best in the country.

Villanova will continue home play this weekend when they take on Yale. Game time is set for noon.
