Junior catcher Brandon Campos was named the Philadelphia Big 5 Player of the Week announced Monday afternoon.
Campos started all three games behind the plate for the Wildcats. His three hits included a double, and two triples, while finishing the week with a .889 slugging percentage. Campos is one of five Villanova players to achieve multiple hit games thus far. He also did not strike out once during his ten plate appearances and caught two runners stealing.
The Villanova Wildcats will return to action this weekend as they head to Norman, Okla. They will face a variety of three different teams including Oklahoma, Boston College, and Northern Illinois.
