The Villanova women's tennis team (0-4) dropped their match to Towson (4-2) on Sunday evening at Coppermine Racquet and Fitness Club.
The combination of Victoria Martinez and Carina Burdick was the only Villanova win that occurred all day. Martinez and Burdick competed in the No. 3 doubles slot and defeated Towson 6-4.
Unfortunately the Wildcats were not as successful in the singles matches, losing all six matches. Alexandra Krogius pushed match points at the No. 4 singles slot and Carina Burdick went 7-5, 4-6, 1-0 (10-5).
