Froccaro and Curran Named USILA All-Americans

Senior Jake Froccaro and graduate student Jack Curran were named to the USILA All-American Team, as announced this morning. Froccaro was named to the Second Team while Curran was an Honorable Mention. This is the second year both have been named All-American, last season both earned Honorable Mentions on the 2016 team.

Froccaro, who over two season at Villanova netted 74 goals and dished out 30 assists for 104 points, earns his highest career honor being named to the Second Team. This season he finished with 48 points on 34 goals and 14 assists. The transfer also served as the Wildcats primary faceoff specialist for five games this season and finished 74-for-141 (.525) from the center X and had a team high 83 ground balls.

Curran had a record setting final season for the Wildcats, he finished with 46 goals, a new single season record. He is also fourth all-time in career points with 182, fifth in goals with 110, and sixth in assists with 72. Against St. John's this season Curran netted eight goals, tying the most goals scored in a single game that was set by Jake Froccaro just a season ago.
