Brunson, Bridges Tabbed Associated Press All-Americans

SAN ANTONIO, Tex - The Associated Press announced its All-Americans in advance of this week's NCAA Final Four here and a pair of Villanova Wildcats were front and center.

Junior guard Jalen Brunson (Lincolnshire, Ill.) is a first team choice, becoming the second Wildcats player in as many seasons to be so honored. Josh Hart was a first team choice in 2017 . Brunson averages 19.2 ppg.

Redshirt junior wing Mikal Bridges is a third team Associated Press All-American. The product of Malvern, Pa., averages 17.6 ppg.

Brunson and Bridges have helped the Wildcats reach the school's sixth NCAA Final Four and are two of the three Wildcats to ever play in two NCAA Final Fours for Villanova. Phil Booth will become the other when Villanova squares off against Kansas at 8:49 p.m. eastern time on Saturday night at the Alamodome.
