Wildcats Play Host To No. 24 Fairfield on Sunday

Villanova (6-7, 1-4) is looking to get back on the winning side of things when it hosts No. 24 Fairfield (11-2, 3-0) on Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m.
 
On Friday, the Wildcats were shutout by No. 3 UConn, losing by a score of 7-0, breaking Villanova's three-game winning streak.

Fairfield is coming off a 2-1 win over Rider on Friday and is on a four game winning streak.
 
The Stags leading scorer is Danielle Profita would has six goals and six assists this season for a team-high 18 points.
 
Fairfield sits atop the Northeast Conference standings.
 
A stat worth noting is that the Stags seem to have the most success in the fourth quarter.
 
The team has scored 12 goals in the fourth quarter compared to the 15 combined goals in the other three quarters in 2019.
 
This season the Stags have also made the most saves in the fourth quarter and have earned the most penalty corners in the last period of play compared to the other three quarters combined.
 
The Wildcats faced the Stags last season in Fairfield, Conn. where they fell by a score of 3-1.
